Harvest and Winter Planting

I harvested my tomatoes today and started to prepare for a winter garden. I have a question: I have beautiful, big herb plants healthy and going strong. Do i pull them up just to till the soil or do I let them keep growing?

I harvested about $30 worth of herbs today!

Leeks!

I harvested some of the last of the leeks and made a wonderful dish to be posted on the recipe blog!

We have had lots of grapefruits as well and looking forward to lemons soon.

Monroe Trees

   - Avocado tree planted October 2011

   - Grapefruit tree planting date unknown. It was the only tree, shrub or plant we kept from the previous owners of our home.

   - Lemon tree planted October 2011
